Pc Richard Gunn was due to get married later this year
The funeral of a police officer who died in a crash on the way to an emergency call has been held at Guildford Cathedral.

Pc Richard Gunn's patrol car, a marked Vauxhall Astra, burst into flames after the collision with a van on 14 March.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Lightwater, Woking, Surrey.

Pc Gunn, 29, had been with Surrey Police for six years and was due to get married.

Two people in the Mercedes van were taken to Frimley Park Hospital with minor injuries.

Pc Gunn had worked on the targeted patrol team in Camberley for the past two years.

His wedding had been planned for later this year.
