Police suspended over porn claims
Two police officers have been suspended following newspaper claims they took part in a sex act with porn actresses while on duty in London's Soho.

The men were patrolling the West End on 26 July when the incident is alleged to have occurred in the film crew's van.

It was reported that they were sent to calm down the crowd which gathered to watch the film being shot.

They were suspended on Saturday while an investigation is carried out by the Directorate of Professional Standards.

We are disappointed by conduct which, if substantiated, brings the service into disrepute
Scotland Yard spokesman

Scotland Yard confirmed that two men, both members of the central London Territorial Support Group unit, had been suspended while their conduct is investigated.

A spokesman said: "The Metropolitan Police Service demands the highest standards from all its staff and patrolling forms a vital part in keeping London's streets safe.

"We are disappointed by conduct which, if substantiated, brings the service into disrepute. "
