A professional footballer, who is charged with raping a teenage girl, has had his application for bail turned down by an Old Bailey judge.
Terrell Forbes, 22, from New Cross, south-east London, had appealed against a decision by Greenwich magistrates on Thursday to remand him in custody.
The defender with Second Division club Queens Park Rangers is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl on 5 March.
He will appear on 31 March at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing.
Three other people have been charged with rape in connection with the incident.
