Anderson denied knowledge of drug trading at the cafe

A man has been found guilty of making hundreds of thousands of pounds from selling cannabis at his Brixton eatery.
Errol Anderson, 47, of Streatham, south London, was remanded in custody at Inner London Crown Court.
He was convicted of 10 money-laundering charges, three of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and allowing illegal trade at the Green Leaf cafe.
His wife Audriana Witter, 49, was found guilty of money laundering and bailed until the pair's sentencing on Tuesday.
The court heard Anderson had bought 14 properties with the money he had made from his illegal drugs trading.
Mobile food stall
He purchased the properties as a way of investing the money without drawing attention to it.
Customers who visited Anderson's Landor Road shop were able to buy patties at the counter before going to a back room to buy marijuana.
He also sold the drug from his mobile food stall at various festivals.
A profit Mr Anderson had made of £100,000 "could not possibly be accounted for by the sale of jerk chicken and patties", the prosecution said.
Cannabis deal
Officers found 700 packages of the drug when they raided the cafe and receipts for more than 28,000 packets of cigarette papers.
Anderson, who was not at the cafe at the time of the raid, was arrested and after being released on bail made a further £233,000 from dealing the drug.
He was then detained a second time when he was caught red-handed at one of his properties in a 2.5kg cannabis deal.
Both defendants claimed any drug dealing at their cafe had been without their knowledge.
