Man held over 'intruder' stabbing
A 33-year-old man has been arrested after a disturbance at a house in which a teenager was stabbed.

Police were called to the house in Tottenham Street, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk at about 0200 BST on Saturday.

On arrival, they found a 19-year-old man with stab wounds and they arrested the man who lives at the house.

It is thought the teenager was stabbed during a struggle in a backyard after the householder woke up and thought there was an intruder in his home.

A police spokesperson said: "A 33-year-old man has been arrested following an altercation which resulted in a 19-year-old local man was stabbed."

The teenager was arrested and taken to hospital where his condition was described as 'serious'.

The 33-year-old was questioned by police before being released on bail pending further inquiries.
