Stunt training for bored youths
Teenagers are being offered the chance to jump off a 30ft (9.1m) tower in an attempt to beat school holiday boredom.

In an unusual summer scheme being held in Bracknell, Berkshire, youngsters are being invited to join a stunt academy.

Sword-play and stunt fights will also be on the curriculum at the session organised by Stunt Action Ltd, based at Shepperton Studios.

The scheme is open to those aged between 12 and 18 and is supervised by qualified stuntmen and teachers.

A spokeswoman for the borough council, which has organised the event, said that safety would be a priority.

She said: "While there will be a free fall into airbags, it is all carried out professionally and with necessary safety precautions."

The course will take place on Thursday at South Hill Park.
