Two people were killed in separate road crashes in Surrey within two hours of each other at the weekend.
The first crash saw a car hit a tree after veering off the A3 near Godalming at about 1645 BST on Saturday, with one of the people in the car killed.
In the second incident two cars and a motorbike collided in Chertsey at about 1825 BST and the motorcyclist died from the injuries he sustained.
Surrey Police want to hear from witnesses to either of the crashes.
Treated for shock
Police said the first crash happened on the northbound carriageway of the A3, near the Hurtmore junction when a silver Mercedes left the road and hit a tree, with no other vehicles involved in the incident.
There were three people in the car, one of whom died.
In the second crash, the motorcycle and two cars collided on Long Cross Road in Chertsey.
Police said the motorcyclist died and the other people involved were treated by ambulance crews for shock but suffered no other injuries.
Officers said they had already spoken to some witnesses but wanted to hear from others who had not already been contacted.
