A holidaymaker from south Wales has died after being involved in a road crash near Phuket in Thailand.
Scott Watkins, 32, from Chepstow and his Thai girlfriend Sasithorn Kaewyai, 33, were killed after their motorbike collided with a car.
The driver of the car was arrested and charged with careless driving.
Arrangements are being made for Mr Watkins body to be flown back to Wales. His funeral will take place in St Mary's Church, Chepstow next week.
The couple were riding a hired motorbike near the holiday resort of Phuket when they collided with a car on 14 March.
'State of shock'
They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Police launched an investigation into the collision and the driver of the car was arrested and charged.
"We can confirm that Mr Scott Tristan Watkins died in a motorcycle accident in Phuket. We have been in contact with his family," said a spokeswoman from the Foreign Office.
Arrangements are in place to fly Mr Watkins body home and a funeral is due to take place on 31 March at 1130 GMT.
"I used to be neighbours with the family and I am sure they will be in an absolute state of shock over what has happened," said Chepstow councillor Gwyn Eburne.
Verona Bamford, another councillor in the area added: "I am very sorry to hear about his death. I am sure that everyone who knew him will be very upset by what has happened."
