A 40-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have been released on police bail after being questioned about a serious assault in Ipswich.
A 35-year-old man was taken to Ipswich Hospital and then transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, after a fight in a car park.
He is said to be in a stable condition following the incident which took place at 2100 BST on Saturday night.
Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses to the fight to come forward.
