Two men have been seriously injured after their microlight plane crashed
in Cheshire.
The pair were set to land when the nose of the Main Air Pegasus hit the ground, causing the craft to
flip over.
The incident happened just before 1915BST in Sandbach on Sunday.
A 70-year-old man, from Alsager suffered stomach injuries, while another man had severe spinal injuries. Both were taken to Leighton hospital.
The aircraft had taken off at a farm in Eaton, near Congleton.
It had been attempting a routine landing at an airfield in the Arclid Industrial Estate in Church Lane, Sandbach.
