Six teenagers charged with murdering a 19-year-old at an underground station in west London have appeared in court.

Sayed Abbas died after being stabbed on the platform of Hounslow West station after 2300 BST on Thursday.

Hassan Hassan, 18, Oluwasey Ogunsanya, 19, both of Heston, and four youths aged 15, 16 and 17, appeared before Feltham Magistrates' Court on Monday.

All the accused were remanded in custody until a hearing at the Old Bailey on 23 August.

Mr Abbas, who had been playing football before the incident, was with two friends when he was wounded.

A train driver went to his assistance, but Mr Abbas died after arriving at West Middlesex hospital.

The Tube station was sealed off by police following the attack, causing delays for thousands of holidaymakers heading to Heathrow.
