Two people have died after a house fire in Nottinghamshire.
Fire crews said the detached house on Stoney Lane in Trowell was well alight when they arrived at 1020 GMT on Thursday.
Five fire engines from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire were called to tackle the flames. Two bodies were recovered from the house.
Police and fire officials say the cause of the fire is not yet known, but say it was "possibly" suspicious.
A fire service spokeswoman said crews from Beeston, Erewash and Stockhill responded to the emergency call.
Officials are still at the scene of the fire carrying out an investigation.
A post mortem on one of the victims, a male, was due to take place at Leicester Royal Infirmary on Thursday night.
