Police identify road death victim
A 34-year-old man who died after being found injured on a Kent road has been named by police.

The man found in Eastwood Road, Sittingbourne, was Francis Alan Anthony Ford, who lived in Cherry Close, a spokesman for Kent Police said.

He died in hospital after being found on Friday at 2335 GMT.

Officers launched a murder inquiry and a 20-year-old man was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder. He was released without charge on Tuesday.

Police have appealed for a group of men and women seen in Eastwood Road at the time of the man's death to come forward.
