An animal rescue centre in Worcestershire is blaming people going on holiday for causing overcrowding problems at its site.
The Danemere Rescue Centre near Droitwich is criticising those going away who are not willing to pay for their cats to be looked after.
It is currently struggling with twice the amount of abandoned animals it can comfortably deal with.
It says many of the cats have been saved from being destroyed.
