Godfrey hopes to add a gold medal to the tattoo

|
An Olympic competitor from Bristol is sporting a tattoo designed specially for the games.
Archer Laurence Godfrey has a £60 red and blue tattoo of the Team GB lion logo, the Olympic rings and Athens 2004 on his right forearm.
"Everyone says 'That's not real is it?' and I just say, 'Actually it is'," said the 28-year-old sportsman from Downend.
"If I win a gold medal I will add that as well - then Beijing 2008 and, hopefully London 2012."
Godfrey, often known as Larry, is a member of Cleve Archers who shoot on a site in Winterbourne.
He is representing Britain in the men's individual competition in Athens.
He is the only British male archer at the games after winning a 64-man shoot-out in Brussels earlier this year.
On Monday, Godfrey made it through the first round of the competition.
