A Leeds primary school has won a fight to take on more pupils at the start of the new term.
Leeds City Council had told Stanningley Primary School it could only admit 25 new pupils in September, but the school appealed against the decision.
Schools adjudicator June Brown upheld its objection and ruled the school should be allowed to take on 28 pupils.
Stanningley Primary was popular with parents and had the capacity for the extra numbers, Mrs Brown said.
