Police and religious group oppose lap dancing club

Plans for a lap dancing club in Mansfield are being opposed by the police and a religious group.
The proposals for the late night club in Handley Arcade on Leeming Street are being considered by Mansfield District Council's licensing panel.
The applicants want to have current restrictions on table, lap and pole dancing lifted.
The plans are being opposed by the police, the South Mansfield Christian Fellowship and a member of the public.
