Van driver is killed in collision

A driver has been killed after his van was in collision with a parked caravan.

Northamptonshire Police said the red Ford Transit van smashed into the caravan, which had been parked in a garden in Raunds, near Wellingborough.

The 61-year-old driver was taken to Kettering General Hospital in Northamptonshire, where he was pronounced dead.

The van had been travelling along London Road on Wednesday before the collision took place.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police.
