At least 35 people have been killed and many more injured after a bus rolled down a ravine in a mountainous part of El Salvador, emergency officials say.
Seven of those killed were children, according to a police spokeswoman.
The bus is said to have been carrying members of an Evangelical Church group when it crashed near Carolina, about 130km from the capital, San Salvador.
All those aboard were killed or hurt, Eugenia de Torres, a local doctor told the Associated Press news agency.
She said her clinic was ill-equipped to deal with the injuries, which range from bruises and cuts to severe head wounds and trauma.
The most serious cases have been transferred to a larger hospital at the city of San Miguel nearby and some could be taken by helicopter for further treatment in San Salvador, a Red Cross official said.
The bus was travelling between the town of Guatajiagua and hot-water springs near the border with Honduras.
