Police warning over bogus taxi cabs
Lincolnshire Police are asking people to think twice before catching a taxi on the street.

The National Campaign group Taxiwise says every week one woman is raped by a bogus taxi or minicab driver.

The force's "Safe in the City Team" says people need to learn to tell which vehicles are taxis and which are not.

The police are urging people to go to an established taxi rank or office, or ask a hotel to recommend a licensed taxi firm.
