Two domes which have dominated the landscape south of Cheltenham could be demolished to make way for housing.
An application to remove the domes at Bentham Sports and Country Club will be discussed by planners on Tuesday.
After demolition, the plan is to erect a single building to house four football pitches and to build 101 new houses on the rest of the land.
Officers are recommending refusal of the scheme. More than 150 letters of objection have been received.
The two inflatable domes currently house five-a-side football pitches and tennis courts.
This application follows a previous one which sought to build 83 homes on the site but Badgeworth Parish Council says neither application is suitable for the area.
Many people living nearby are among the objectors.
