Examples of outstanding architecture and design in East Sussex are being sought to be put forward for the Civic Trust awards.
In last year's scheme, the Woodland Enterprise Centre at Flimwell won an award.
The bandstand at Bexhill's De La Warr Pavilion and a landscaping scheme at Shinewater got commendations.
The awards recognise excellence in architecture, environmental and landscape design and public art.
Outstanding contribution
East Sussex County Council said it was keen to build upon last year's successes.
Awards are given to projects judged to have made an outstanding contribution to the quality and appearance of the environment and commendations to those that make a valuable contribution.
A third level - a mention - can be awarded for projects of cultural, social or economic benefit to the local community.
The awards take place every two years and to be eligible for the current scheme projects must have been completed between 1 January 2002 and 30 September 2004.
The closing date is 17 September and entry forms are available from East Sussex County Council.
