The hills around Hereford will soon be alive with the Sound of Music - but not to the sound of a glockenspiel.
The producer of the show at the city's Courtyard wants to include an authentic glockenspiel in the orchestra, but so far has been unable to track one down.
The problem has been exacerbated by the fact that schools do not reopen until after the start of the show on 2 September.
A school orchestra may include the instrument which resembles a xylophone.
