Legionnaires' closes leisure site
A leisure centre in Cheshire has been closed after tests revealed a strain of Legionnaires' Disease.

Further tests are being carried out at Macclesfield Leisure Centre, but the council said the risk to the public was minimal.

The bacteria showed up in routine tests of the water system which feeds the showers, water basins and toilets.

Anyone who has had chest problems since visiting the centre should contact their GP, public health experts said.
