Lollipop man charged over drugs
A school lollipop man has been charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.

The 32-year-old was charged after crack cocaine was found at a Birmingham flat.

Birmingham City Council confirmed the man had been suspended from Holte School, Lozells, where he also worked as a part-time cleaner

West Midlands Police said the man, who was due to appear before city magistrates on Wednesday, was not suspected of dealing drugs to children.

A spokesman said a quantity of crack cocaine was recovered from a property in Alma Way, Newtown, after police executed a search warrant on Tuesday.
