Woman threatened in armed robbery
A female employee has been left badly shaken following an armed robbery at a travel agents in south Belfast.

Shortly before 1000 BST on Saturday, two men, one wearing a balaclava and armed with a kitchen knife, entered the premises on the Lisburn Road.

The men threatened the woman and demanded cash.

They escaped with a small sum of money in a green car driven by a third man towards Tates Avenue.

Meanwhile, police have found a car used during a robbery outside a supermarket on the Lisburn Road.

The incident happened shortly after 1000 BST on Saturday.

A courier delivering cash to the shop was approached by a man who pointed a gun at him and demanded the cash box he was carrying.

The man escaped in a red car which was later found abandoned at Torr avenue in Finaghy.

Police have appealed for witnesses to either incident to contact them.
