Crews tackle 40-tonne grain fire
Fire crews have worked to extinguish a fire in a 40-tonne grain dryer at a farm near Marlborough, Wilts.

Four hours after the blaze at Temple Farm, Rockley was reported, 28 firefighters were still at the scene.

Wiltshire Fire Brigade received several calls at about 0830 BST on Saturday and crews from Marlborough, Ramsbury, Pewsey and Calne attended.

Further assistance was required from a special aerial appliance from Swindon and a water carrier from Ramsbury.

Crews used breathing apparatus, three hose reels and one main water jet to tackle the fire.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check an adjacent grain store.
