Water company targets three areas

Improved water quality and better sewerage facilities for Herefordshire are highlighted by the supplier, Welsh Water, in its annual report.

It says three areas are enjoying a better service thanks to improvements in pumping arrangements - Bredenbury, Rowden Paddocks and The Doward.

It is claiming a 99.3% compliance record with environmental standards at wastewater treatment works.

Properties at risk of low pressure are now only 0.02% - an all-time low.
