A man has been shot and beaten in north Belfast.
The 27-year-old was attacked at his home in Graymount Parade off the Shore Road.
Five or six masked men, armed with hammers, forced their way into the house at about 0400 BST on Saturday.
The man is being treated for a gunshot wound to the thigh, head injuries and puncture wounds to his knees.
Police have appealed for anyone with any information about the attack to contact detectives at Antrim Road.
