Man cut free from van after crash
An injured man was freed by the fire brigade after his van hit a concrete lamp-post in Weston-super-Mare.

Firefighters were assisted by paramedics as they cut off the roof to release the man early on Saturday.

Emergency crews were at the scene of the crash in Ashcombe Road, Milton, for about half an hour.

The man, aged about 30. was taken to hospital with head and leg injuries. He was reported to have been conscious, but in pain during the rescue.
