Four people shot in social club
Four people have been injured, one of them seriously, in a shooting at a Manchester social club.

Three men and a woman sustained head, chest, leg and arm injuries during the incident in Newall Green.

Police were called at about 0050 BST on Saturday to Greenbrow Social Club, after reports gunshots were heard.

The four victims are receiving treatment at Wythenshawe Hospital, where one man's condition is described as being serious.

Greater Manchester Police said the four went to hospital shortly after the incident at the club in Greenbrow Road, with gun shot wounds.

"One man received injuries to his chest and is in a serious condition, although [his injuries are] not thought to be life-threatening," the force said in a statement.

"The woman received two gun shot wounds, one to her arm and one to her leg.

"One man received injuries to his head and the other had injuries to his arm."

The victims are all aged in their late teens, or early 20s.

Witnesses or anyone who has information about the shootings should contact Wythenshawe CID or ring Crimestoppers.
