Police have seized heroin and crack cocaine worth £8,000 during a drugs raid on a house in Huddersfield.

Officers from the Kirklees District Drugs Team searched an address in Riley Street, Newsome, at 4.40pm on Tuesday.

A substantial amount of cash was also found during the operation and four men, all from Huddersfield, were arrested and detained for questioning.

Detective Inspector John Gilbody said the raid had been a "tremendous success".
