Chouet to be linked to coast path
Chouet
Walkers and wheelchair users will benefit
Islanders are one step closer to being able to gain access to the area around the Chouet headland.

The National Trust has granted permission to link the footpath at the Chouet tearooms with the coastal path.

It means there will be a continual path stretching from Grandes Rocques around the coast to Pembroke for walkers, cyclists and wheelchair users.

Guernsey Bicycle Group has welcomed the move which follows pressure from the Board of Administration.

Club chairman Paul Francis said: "I'm delighted the Board is moving in the right direction to create more shared use paths."
