Motorcyclist killed in collision

A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with two vehicles in West Sussex.

The 31-year-old man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle on the A283 near Northchapel when the accident occurred at about 1600 BST on Friday.

Police said the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was killed when his machine collided with a white Mercedes van and a Volvo tanker goods vehicle.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is being carried out.
