Pedestrian dies after road smash
A 75-year-old man from West Sussex has died after being hit by a car while out walking with his wife.

Raymond Brooks was walking westbound on Henfield Road in Upper Beeding when he was hit by a Vauxhall Astra travelling in the same direction.

Mr Brooks was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment by emergency crews but died later from his injuries.

Sussex Police, who are appealing for witnesses, said the driver of the car was an 82-year-old man from Steyning.
