Cash to fight chewing gum problem
Two councils have secured European funding to remove chewing gum from pedestrianised areas.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council want a clean-up in both town centres.

The cash will pay for a specialist industrial cleaning company to get rid of gum and grime using a chemical free steam clean method.

The work will take place during late evening and early morning to avoid disruption.

It is due to be completed by the end of the month.
