Police arrest five in drugs raid

Five people have been arrested and a large quantity of drugs seized after a police operation in south Birmingham.

The raid was part of Operation Starlet which is targeting drug dealers.

Cannabis, ecstasy tablets and cocaine were recovered from addresses in Frankley, Northfield, Weoley Castle and Woodgate Valley.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Gary Campbell, from West Midlands Police, said 41 people had so far been arrested since the operation's start.
