Warning of 'violent' runaway boy

Police are warning the public not to approach a "violent" 13-year-old runaway boy.

Stuart Ferguson, who is originally from north Devon, was last seen at a house in Southsea, Hampshire, at 2140 BST on Thursday.

Loved-ones are appealing for anyone with information on the schoolboy's whereabouts to get in touch.

A spokesperson said: "Police are urging people not to approach the teenager due to his violent nature."

The teenager, who is in the care of Portsmouth Social Services, is described as white, 5ft 6ins, slim, with short brown hair in a mohican style.

Police have released a CCTV image of Stuart taken outside his home in Southsea on Thursday, in which he is wearing a blue checked short-sleeved shirt.
