A 91-year-old man is to marry his 86-year-old girlfriend after an 11-week courtship at their retirement home.
Rita King and Kim Gordon met in Poole, Dorset, at a coffee morning on 26 May and Mr Gordon proposed on Wednesday.
A date for the wedding has not been set but the couple may honeymoon in the US, where Ms King's two children live.
Ms King said: "When we started going out with each other we saw each other every day and then we decided to get engaged. We really love each other."

The couple's relationship blossomed when Mr Gordon offered to show Ms King - who is originally from Denmark - around the area, after she moved there from Norfolk.
Mr Gordon, who used to work at the London Stock Exchange and has lived at the flats for the past 12 years, said: "It was just as if we were teenagers. We went out holding hands.
"We can both now, in the life span we have, look after each other. That's my one ambition, to look after Rita.
"It has given us a new lease of life for what time we have got left on this planet."
The couple, who are looking for a two-bedroom flat at the retirement block, will initially live in Ms King's flat after they are married.
Both were previously married - Ms King for 53 years and Mr Gordon for almost as long.
