Police are asking for help to trace a Birmingham man accused of causing death by dangerous driving.

West Midlands Police said Mohammed Niaz, from Alum Rock, failed to appear at the city's crown court in February.

Mr Niaz, 41, who sometimes uses his middle name Asif, is charged with causing the death of Fred McIntosh in Lodge Road, Winson Green, in June 2003.

A warrant has been issued for Mr Niaz's arrest, and anyone who knows where he is living is asked to contact police.
