A church in east Yorkshire has made it into the national shortlist of 12 competing for the title Best-kept Churchyard in Great Britain.
The church of St David, Airmyn, near Goole, was picked out of hundreds of entrants because of its visitors attractions.
Lighting, disabled access, nest boxes and a display of snowdrops and daffodils draw visitors each year.
The final result will be announced in November with a first prize of £1,000.
