Tens of thousands of bikers from across the UK are expected to attend the 18th Bulldog Bash in Warwickshire this weekend.

Police hope the four-day motorbike festival, which started on Thursday at Long Marston airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon, passes off peacefully.

Last year a 35-year-old man died when his bike was in collision with a Land Rover Discovery.

Posters have been put up to encourage motorcyclists to ride more safely.

Motorists in the area are also being advised to take extra care.
