Man found unconscious in street
A 67-year-old man has been found lying in a Birmingham road with serious head injuries.

Police said the victim was discovered shortly before midnight on Monday, close to Matthew Boulton College in Highgate.

The man, who is from Birmingham, is being treated in hospital for facial fractures and a fractured skull.

Two men arrested in connection with the incident are being questioned by detectives.

A number of people stopped to help the victim, who was found unconscious in Sherlock Street at its junction with Hope Street.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information about how the man received his injuries.
