Teenager denies killing pensioner

A teenager has pleaded not guilty to murdering a Plymouth pensioner.

Ian Hartshorn, 18, from Plymouth, denied the murder charge when he appeared at Truro Crown Court on Tuesday morning.

Florence Seccombe, 69, died at Bretonside Bus Station on 18 October last year after suffering a stab wound to her neck.

Mr Hartshorn, who at the time of his arrest was living in Greenbank Avenue in St Judes, was remanded in custody.
