Police are to interview the victim again
Police have launched an investigation after a teenage girl was assaulted by a man in a lane in Rhondda, south Wales.

The 13-year-old girl was attacked by the man in a lane in Cwmparc on Monday night.

The incident happened at about 2130GMT in a lane between Conway Road and Chepstow Road.

An appeal has been made for anyone who was in the area between 2100 GMT and 2200GMT to contact South Wales Police.

No description of the man has been issued.

Officers are to interview the girl on Tuesday morning to see if she can tell them anymore information about what happened.
