A London man has appeared at Thanet Magistrates' Court charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving without a licence or insurance.
Masood Sahabzada, 28, of West Hendon Broadway, Hendon, was arrested after a fatal two-car collision on the A28 at Birchington in Kent.
A 20-year-old woman from Ramsgate was killed in the crash on 19 July.
Sahabzada was remanded in custody on Thursday and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court.
He was also charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
