Bus drivers vote yes to pay offer
Bus drivers working for First South Yorkshire have voted to accept a pay offer from the company and officially end their long-running dispute.

Their union, the TGWU recommended they accept the offer and the voting was 835 in favour with 254 against.

The deal gives the drivers a rise of 30p an hour backdated to April with another 30p rise in April 2005.

A three-week strike ended on Tuesday when drivers suspended their action ahead of the ballot.
