Image of a man police would like to question
Police hunting a man who tried to use a 'cloned' credit card in an off-licence have released a CCTV image of a man they want to question.

A man attempted to purchase bottles of spirits worth several hundred pounds from the Asda store in Bournemouth Road, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire.

But he fled empty-handed after being challenged by a cashier who thought his credit card looked "suspicious".

The incident occurred about midday on Saturday, 17 January.

The man was Asian, aged 18 to 20, with short, dark brown hair.

He was wearing a grey top and blue jeans.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
