Man charged with murder

A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after the death of a woman in Cambridgeshire at the weekend.

The body of 21-year-old Emily Bates was found at an address in South Brink, Wisbech, at about 2200 GMT on Saturday.

A post-mortem examination on Monday showed she died from multiple stab wounds.

Kieron Carpenter, of South Bank, Wisbech, was due to appear before magistrates in Peterborough on Wednesday charged with her murder.
