Quad bike track opposed
Plans to open a quad bike track in Crewe are set to be approved, despite objections from more than 100 people.

GJ Motor Sports wants to build the course on land at the back of Spring Farm in Coppenhall, Cheshire.

Up to 20 bikes would be kept in storage containers for people as young as eight-years-old to use.

But residents have objected to the plans, claiming the track will create excessive noise and air pollution.

Planning officers from Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council have recommended the plan is approved.

Councillors were due to discuss the scheme on Tuesday.
